Yucatan Tour

We are delighted to announce that our first ever Yucatan tour is now scheduled for early December of next year (2010). Our tour-led by a distinguished expert in the fields of anthropology and archaeology-will include visits to some of the region's most famous sites including: This is a wonderful opportunity to learn not only about ancient and colonial history but also about the enduring Maya and their rich living heritage. Accommodations
 All accommodations for this tour will be in 1st-class hotels, typically members of the Mexican boutique hotel association. Many of these are also places of historic significance. For example, Hotel Hacienda Chichen, is a former working hacienda right on the grounds of the UNESCO world heritage site of Chichen Itza. This is a place where the great 19th century explorer John Lloyd Stephens stayed while traveling though the Yucatan with English artist Frederick Catherwood in the 1840s.
